If I could start a new business right now, I would launch Atilingo. Well, technically, I already have!

Atilingo is a project close to my heart. It focuses on preserving African languages, stories, and cultural knowledge and making them accessible to future generations. I believe our languages hold more than just words; they carry our histories, identities, memories, and ways of understanding the world.

When we lose a language, we lose a way of understanding, along with cultural knowledge and wisdom. We lose a part of the world that we may never regain.

If I could start over, I would still choose Atilingo or something similar. There is something meaningful about building something that goes beyond making money—something that gives people a reason to remember where they come from. I don’t know how far this journey will take me, but I hope to see a future where no African language or story is forgotten just because nobody took the time to preserve it. By the way, Atilingo will become part of my doctoral studies, and there’s no better way to earn a PhD than by incorporating parts of your research into technology. I’m very excited.
