What’s something you do completely differently from how you were raised?

One thing I do differently from how I was raised is how I see life. I don’t dwell too long on negativity or let difficult moments define my view of people or situations. Even when something goes wrong, I try to find the lesson, the opportunity, or the small bit of good that might still be there. I don’t think this means ignoring the bad. It means refusing to give it more power than it deserves. Over time, I’ve learned that there is almost always something worth appreciating, learning from, or being grateful for. Seeing the good has become less of a habit and more of a way of moving through the world. It definitely reduces unnecessary mental stress.
