What’s the weirdest coincidence you’ve ever experienced?

What a word serendipity is! This post is in response to the prompt above.
I’ve often wondered whether some coincidences are truly coincidences. Reflecting on my life, I’ve been fortunate to encounter opportunities, people, institutions, and moments that I could never have intentionally planned or orchestrated. One opportunity seemed to lead to another unexpectedly, and somehow the journey from Nigerian schools to Berkeley, California, and then to UCLA, California, again, unfolded in ways I could never have foreseen.
Maybe the strangest coincidence isn’t a single event but the recurring feeling that certain doors open just when I’m ready to walk through them. I don’t know whether to call it a coincidence, timing, or a blessing. Maybe it’s a combination of all three.
What I do know is that opportunities can appear, but we still need to recognize them and have the courage to walk through the doors they open. And sometimes, when I look back at my journey, I can’t help but wonder: how much of it was coincidence, and how much was something more? Maybe I’m being led toward a greater purpose.
