Pleasant fragrances cling to the hands of those who distribute roses.
Waking up, hale and hearty and happy for little things like memories of good things and people is enough reason to be grateful. Each morning, I have the opportunity to reflect on things that go well and shut out thoughts of things that are not working out. The smiling toddler, playing dog, the laughing stranger, or the dancing tree leaves sailing in the wind are enough blessings to see, hear or feel. More significantly, the gift of good friends and family makes me want to shout and sing with joy. It’s a personal thing.
Count your blessings.
Gratitude is like a compass. It guides, it teaches, it leads. Gratitude reminds one to be humble, respectful, and hopeful. It reminds us of where we come from. It makes us realize that our success is dependent on others. If you think you are not blessed, consider that you might have missed something else—things like death, sickness, etc.
Sometimes angels are just good people moving around, dropping roses in the laps and palms of unsuspecting people. I’m one of those who have been exceedingly blessed. I can never get used to saying thank you.
Now I will take a moment to express my gratitude to everyone who has contributed to my success. I’m not ashamed to say I’m today because of you. Thank you. God bless you. May the sun shine in all you do. Hold my hand; let’s fly higher together!
