Playing Child

Don’t let the sun set end this play, dear child
Today was a race up hills & down valleys,
Your little legs an exalted wagon for hope
Greeted by green trees that stand sentry

Let the wind soar with your kite & dreams
So that the dancing wind may find a friend
With you, an inspired child and his kite
On a race up hills and down the vales
