Take a Break

Do you feel overwhelmed by life’s stress? Then it’s time to take a break. Here are some recommended tips to stay relaxed:

1. Take a nap: It’s obvious that our bodies are designed for rest. So enjoying some sleep is a good way to relieve stress.

2. Water, water, and more water: Water is life. The Earth and the human body are made up of water. So we can see the connection between humans and water. Some headaches and stress can be alleviated just by drinking a glass of water!

3. Exercise: Exercise is a great way to reduce stress. I remember that each morning I went for a jog, and I tend to be more proactive throughout the day.

4. Evening walks/hangouts/friends: Whenever I feel overwhelmed with work, I try to hang out with colleagues and friends. This usually takes place somewhere away from the workplace or home.

5. Family: I’m a strong believer in the positive energy that family can provide. I know that families differ, but if you truly enjoy family time, you might find it comforting. I try to relax by talking to family members. We share warm memories that are pleasant and comforting.

6. And then I eat too: Hunger can cause stress for people. Trying to enjoy a well-prepared and balanced meal can make you feel good. I’m proof of that.

7. Music/movies: Soft music can be healing. Everyone has songs that, when played, bring them comfort.

Take time to take care of yourself and make yourself comfortable. You are the architect of your own well-being and comfort.
