Sunset and Misery

Until When?

It’s crazy times we live in. We just came out of COVID-19 to witness the world fall apart. I hope we survive the peace when it all ends and that we dare to look into people’s faces and say we tried our best to live in peace. We must learn to talk with each other.

Sunset and Misery

We see sunsets and smile when some, somewhere, breathe their last
We think little about others because we are safe from flying bombs
What a wonderful, beautiful world we live in
We conquered oceans and earth, been to the moon and back, made sweet juices from nectar, built speed trains and boats, made terrific music, and did even more
But haven’t figured out how to live in peace with one another
Look at the sunset, showing herself to the dying and living
We see sunsets; however, somewhere, someone is breathing their last and bidding the beautiful sunset final bye
