Livermore, California

Watch the hills rise and fall
Beautiful, ancient,
Twist and turn,
Happy singing birds
Happier sunlight!

Blue clouds
Against the white,
Foraging horses
And cows
Look up to see who has arrived
Lovely grass paradise
Trees are the guards!

Hawks circle the skies
Noon greets everyone
Take notice the cow mooing
Or the powerful horse neigh

Let’s go dreaming
In a county not far away
A valley unspoiled
Where man and nature
Is kind first
And kinder even more
