In Africa, family is everything. Family is not necessarily people related by blood. I know friends who have become and feel more like family to me. It’s all based on trust, unconditional love, and acceptance. That’s what family is. Family is a cushion and citadel. Family is a home we run to when the world and everything go crazy.
