I love you; I want you to know.

It’s easy to take things and other people for granted. Sometimes people feel entitled because someone makes an effort to please or help them. Everyone needs to know that they are valued. Telling someone how much they mean to you is not wrong. Saying ‘please and thank you is a sign of maturity. Saying ‘I’m sorry shows humility. Let’s learn to show appreciation.

Below is a short piece I crafted some time ago. I’ll never let the ones I love feel unloved.

Sweet perfume from the lavender
I sit; I admire you from the fireside,
I realize how lucky I am to have you
