Like a hundred samba drums of Brazil
Thrilling a thousand voices of excitement
On a sandy pitch were soccer is played?

The Lions, the Elephants, the wild Oaks
Cities have got their noise
The automobiles, the bikes, the ice cream man
Schools have got their noise
Aee Bee Cee, One Two Three, Doh Rah Meh!
But true love has got its noise
A joyful and steady, silent heart beat
Which no human ear can decipher
