The goodness of the Earth
Lives only on the airs
The primates up the swooshing trees
Know it, they love it
The goodness in man, woman
Is all about efforts to be sincere
Honesty, even at gunpoint
An attitude void of selflessness
The love of having an friend
Of having a warmth in others heart
Of caring and believing in another
Is Divine and fulfilling
The joys of motherhood
Lies on the growth of the infant
The struggle to become a man
And the smiles that come with success
The beauty of you, my love
Is not your face, your eyes
The streams of goodness that runs
About and thru you, that’s it
I have been quite busy with academic books, which has sapped some poetic diction in me. I had not listened to trees, clouds, and insects for a while now, oh so many tales untold. Pardon me, dear Diary and dear concerned reader. Guess this Xmas holiday I will make up for the time lost in poetry-blogging. Stay with me, always.
