Fonuoha: I dreamt of a flock How I’d watch them graze But I’m always out of luck Like a mirage my dreams erase Oiroegbu: For some of the flock are mirages And their mirages, people in my life Those who cast their nets before my bridges And dream to reap where they sowed strife Fonuoha:… Continue reading The Flock

Laughter is a sweet wine
She goes into the eyes
Burning the desires of men
Family is a nice paradise

Friendship is like a flying Eagle
Flying above quiet blue waters
In love there is no need for struggle
Nothing like a sister or brother

Sometimes things and people change
But nothing changes a familys’ love
From plain vales to mountain ranges
There is no pat, finer than a loved ones hug

In this heart of mine, in my minds eyes
Lives a long weary tale and poetic tapes
Ups and downs, laughs and sighs
But the smile on your faces give me hope
I love you all; family, friends and readers

Tree tale
by Oke Iroegbu and Frank Onuoha
March 14, 2015
Sitting under a long leafy tree
On a mild and serene noon
With some Natures best creatures
A stray buzzing bee
A colony of black ants
A handful of wild mushrooms
And some twittering birds
The breeze blows at intervals
Bringing the smell of Cattle to us
And the trees leaves tried to see
Those who took refuge under her comfort
Blushing at the admiration on our eyes
As we perceive the sweet fragrance from her flowers
While the fruits fall solemnly
What a sight this is!
The cute plummages on the birds
The birds sitting on the tree
On this quiet and calm Sun
And us sitting under the trees warmth!
