Writing Between the Lines of Life

Well, ladies and gentlemen, friends and family, it’s been a while since I’ve looked this way. I was getting ready for school and also traveling recently. So, I’ve been away trying to sort out my things and thoughts. I haven’t even had the time to watch the sunset. Additionally, I’m back in a big city with no real place for personal quiet time. However, I’m grateful to be able to afford living in this vibrant city and for the generosity of the people and places around me. I am thankful for my unwavering friendships, family, faith in God, and hope for beautiful things to come. One piece of advice: life happens, but always maintain a positive outlook.

I often have multiple ideas to write about, but writing is an art that requires deep reflection. I jot down quotes, short stories, or pieces of poetry as they come to me—raw and unfiltered. Though I sometimes change the original words to convey my ideas better, I understand the power of words and stories. I realize that the choice of words can create a fine line between conflict and peace. I’m learning to choose my words carefully, as being entirely accurate and straightforward can sometimes lead to being singled out. I don’t enjoy being in the spotlight; it stresses me out.

I’ve reached a point where I need to make significant decisions about my writing and personal life. I believe the time is right, and now is the moment. I won’t be as active here for a while as I am resuming my doctoral studies at one of America’s top universities. Go Bruins!

I hope everyone had a wonderful summer, and I wish for beautiful things to continue happening to all who read this. Good night.
