Summer Nights

Cloudy evening, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Hot Days, Calm Evenings

Interestingly, the winds decided to be gentle this evening. The day had been extremely hot, and I sometimes wonder if this is the exact Albuquerque that was chilly just a few weeks ago. I prefer summer evenings to the sweltering days because the heat lessens, allowing everyone to breathe a sigh of relief and relax.

I have a very brief thought tonight. I hope your summer is going well wherever you are. Good night.

Summer Nights

In twilight’s embrace, shadows softly sway,
As evening’s dark canvas begins to play.
Ephemeral clouds dance on horizons bright,
While colors bleed gently into the night.

Warmth wraps around like a comforting sigh,
A gentle reminder as chill winds lie.
Elements clash in a drama unseen,
While creatures and plants endure in between.

Through the struggle, resilience will bloom,
As nature endures in the face of the gloom.
With every soft breath of the night’s tender kiss,
Life carries on in its beautiful bliss.
