On what subject(s) are you an authority?

One subject that I admire and love so much is Folklore or Cultural Studies. Growing up in a culture that prides itself on storytelling, I paid keen attention to how stories shape who people become. Now, I just concluded a graduate program in Folklore from a prestigious university in California to consolidate my passion. Storytelling was a significant part of my research in America. I researched how oral expressive forms such as proverbs and folktales help younger generations negotiate living spaces with other non-human species and the environment. Folk traditions can offer pathways as people develop sustainable means of conservation.
