Poem: Don’t Cry

Don’t cry when the last coal burn out
And the little flickering fire tries to stay
Don’t cry around the noise of silence
Even when it’s so loud and deafening
Don’t cry when there’s a moonless night
When the cold hands of twilight threaten
Don’t cry, my friend, when it seems it’s over
Let it be; the sun will rise, so will true love
