What colleges have you attended?
Before heading to America for my master’s, I did my diploma and undergraduate education at Abia State Polytechnic and the University of Uyo, both in Nigeria. Currently, I’m completing my graduate education at America’s premier public institution—the University of California Berkeley. Cal, or UC Berkeley as it is called, is known for its academic excellence, renowned faculty members, and numerous scientific contributions to the world.
The UC Berkeley campus is stunning. When I talk about beauty, I don’t just refer to the modern architectural designs but the deliberate tree canopy pockets here and there. The hills rise and fall, and sunsets are gold. I can see the famous Golden Gate Bridge from my residence.
In a few weeks, I would find out where I would be completing my PhD. Fingers crossed.
