What positive events have taken place in your life over the past year?
A lot of good has happened in the past year. One of the most significant is starting my graduate degree at the best public university in the world—the University of California Berkeley on full-ride. Here, I have met some of the best friends I have ever. I have also experienced growth in my intellectual and writing capacity, had the opportunity to travel around the USA for conferences, seminars, and symposiums, and grown as an academic.
Coming to America has brought positive changes for me and my family and friends.
