Letting Go

What’s the hardest decision you’ve ever had to make? Why?

I’m not bitter, but better

I have learned to let go of events, situations, people, actions, and things that don’t work for me. Letting go involves forgiving myself and those that hurt me. However, it doesn’t mean that the wrongs are forgotten and that I want to deal with them anymore. Forgiveness brings me peace of mind and happiness. I don’t get bitter or sad anytime I encounter these events or people.

I don’t live my life to be liked and have come to a point where people’s opinion doesn’t move me. I’m inspired to work harder to prove them wrong. The best revenge is success—I have nothing to prove to anyone, anyway. I’ll be genuine and honest with myself, my family, friends, and those who care; that’s all that matters.
