Happiness

The pursuit of happiness is a moral duty

So what is happiness? Everyone has got a definition depending on their life’s viewpoint. Happiness is contentment. It’s bliss, joy, peace of mind, and hope. The pursuit of happiness is engraved in the US Declaration of Independence.

Happiness is the sound of waterfalls. It’s the whistling of pines in a rather windy evening. It’s the smile and laughter of newborns. It’s the taste of wine and the colours of the cloud. It’s sunshine upon the vales and hills. Happiness is good food and eating well, the taste of love. It’s good weather. It’s a good movie and the end of lockdown.

Happiness is as simple and attainable as that. Yet it’s seemingly hard to get.
