How to Paint like Van Gogh (Poetry) by David Thane Cornell

Viewers will think
it’s only a print
when they view it,
if you don’t put your whole body
and mind into it.
The sun in your head,
a storm in your heart,
is a good start.
Now lie down for hours
among sunflowers.
Then, when the storm passes,
don’t cut off your ear,
paint this world
with your eyelashes.
